My special moment by Oana

When you think of a special moment, it's usually about a big event in one's life, but not for me. My special moments are insignificant for other people and that's what makes them so special.  One of the recent events that I will always remember is snowboarding. I believe there's nothing more satisfying than feeling adrenaline through your body. Going on the top of the mountain, on the top of the world, enjoying the view and rushing down on your snowboard is the best feeling I've ever experienced, although I must confess I was terrified  at the beginning. I have a great respect for sports men and women, but unfortunately for me I never had the chance to be one myself.  Recently I have promised myself I'll make time to enjoy special moments in my life, like this one, or any other.

When was the most important moment of your life?

It could be a day, a week, a decision, but we all have these moments that if they had gone a different way, our lives would be irrevocably changed.

For instance, I went with my father to China, 4 years ago, instead of going to a camp of something. I went to Hong Kong and Hainnan, Haiku actually, which is a nice island.  The time that I've spend there was marvelous. I've had like 3 or 4 days to learn about their culture, their native customs and about their cuisine. Eating with chopsticks was not a problem for me because I fell in love with the Chinese food 5 years ago. Well there I eat a lot of bizarre foods, for example when we arrive in Hong Kong we eat some strange oysters, strange because they were very big, like enormous. I've made a new friend there although I really don't remember her name now and we didn't keep in touch. I've had a lot fun visiting some museums and fighting with water with some strangers. The bad part was that my father had to work most of the time but in the end he had 2 days off so we went shopping together and both strange, but with interesting stories and things. I took a lot of pictures. This trip allowed me to learn more about China and of course allowed me to spend more time with my father whom I love, respect and admire the same time.

I believe that things happened for a reason. People come into your lives, not by accident, but for a purpose. Whether you become long life friends or you help them out with directions. You are here for a reason and a purpose.

Special moment by Adrian

The happiest moment of my life was last summer, when I went to Buzau with the "Save the Children" organization. I met a lot of people, especially children. Everyone was friendly and I felt right at home there. During the week in which we were there, me and my colleagues taught the children a lot of important things about children's rights, but we also learned a lot from the sad life experience that the children had. In the end, the most important thing we did was to bring a smile on the children's faces, and that's all that mattered.

A special moment by Sorin

One of the special moments in my life was when I started using aerosol to express myself.  At first I believed that this thing is not for me even if I loved drawings since I was little but till then I was just using pencils or some other conventional ways to do my stuff.

       It all begun last year when I and another two friends of mine were playing with the aerosol paint. Slowly but surely I've got in to it for good, even if at first I was very sure that this thing wasn't for me, now I can't spend a month without painting something else. I think I can say it`s a good thing that happened to me, I'm not doing an illegal thing like most of the other guys do it, I only paint in legal, special designed areas where you can express your feelings through paint.

       I consider it a hobby and I'm pretty sure that it was a special thing that I have discovered this kind of art.
